About
My upbringing in Gippsland, Victoria, surrounded by a rich history, sparked a natural curiosity, leading me to explore abandoned buildings and houses, uncovering stories of the past through old newspapers, photographs, and personal items. This journey culminated in my first solo exhibition, ‘What Remains,’ at the Briagolong Art Gallery in 2016.
A love of local history and specifically how
women are represented in history, drew me to
the story of Margaret Clement (known as The Lady of the Swamp) in South Gippsland.
This love of old stories has lead me to my latest exhibition, ‘Goodbye Girlie’, which invites viewers into a captivating world where reality intertwines with imagination.
When I am not working I am a regular visitor to my original family home in Gippsland.
